

Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Sadie and Joe Navarra, Joseph led a remarkable life filled with service, laughter, and love. He proudly served his country in the Air Force, then as a dedicated New York City firefighter. After retiring from the fire department, Joseph’s gift of conversation and connection made him an extraordinary salesman.
Known for his dazzling blue eyes and an even brighter personality, Joseph brought joy wherever he went. His smile and quick wit made a lasting impression on everyone he met. With a kind word always at the ready and a heart full of generosity, he lived a life rooted in kindness and warmth.
Joseph is survived by his beloved Mary Ann, his children Joseph and Kathleen, his stepchildren Betty Ann and Joseph, his sister Margie, brother John, and his cherished grandchildren Joey, Jordan, Jackson, Quinn, Morgan, William, Andrew, and Dylana and many nieces & nephews.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 2nd at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3rd, also at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, followed by a reception at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club.
He will be dearly missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
