Joseph Chauvec Saget

Joseph Chauvec Saget passed away peacefully on June 4th, 2021 at Memorial West Hospital, at the age of 85, after an unexpected cardiac arrest. He was the son of Pierre Saget and Hermence Auguste. Joseph was the beloved husband of Dieula Pierre-Louis Saget for 53 years and the loving father of Micheline Pinthiere, Suze Saget-Jules, Pierre-Rene Saget, Wide Saget, Hermence Saget Civil, and Miton Saget.

Two daughters-in-law; Nadege R. Saget and Mariel G. Saget. Two Sons-in-law Dr. Ader Jules and Patrick Pinthiere.

Joseph was the proud grandfather of Tyson L. Civil, Dawson T. Civil, Kenneth I. Saget, Arianna R. Saget, Chloe J. Saget, Nylah P. Saget, Emmie A. Saget, Liam A. Saget, Patricia P. Glenn, Sabrina Pinthiere and Joshua Pinthiere and Great-grandkids : Knolan Pinthiere, Corey Abrams, Chahvi and Chezarey Glenn.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Pradel Pierre, Marie M. Pierre, Anide Saget, Benita Saget, Rochenet Saget, Roger Saget, and Jeannot Saget. His brother-in-law: Alphonse Pierre-Louis and sister-in-law: Marie-Rose Pierre-Louis. His nieces and nephews: Marjorie, Mirriam, Chrislande, Chrismene, Myrlene, Jocelyn, Pharline, Brian, Chrisberlie, Alexandria, Gabrielle, Angeline, Ryline, Roseline, Logan, Alysha, Nathan, Jordarsen, Steeven, Neveah, and Josiah. A host of in-laws: the Pierre-louis and Extra family.

Joseph enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved to travel. Joseph had a special love for God. He enjoyed reading the bible, praying and sharing the word of God with friends and family. He was a Godly man. A man of principle. A man of honor. A great Husband. A devoted and loving father and grandfather. A loyal friend. He was passionate about eating healthy and exercising. He took very great care of his mind and body till the very end.

Joseph will be dearly missed.
