She was married at the Alley Anglican Church in Clarendon Jamaica and was a homemaker. She cared deeply for her family and took care of her home with pride. She was proud of her 8 children, 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. While in Jamaica, when her grandchildren were born, she helped to care for them. She later moved to the United States to help her daughter care for her children. She would travel to Jamaica often to be with the other children and grandchildren. She later moved permanently to the United States to live with her youngest daughter and help her care for her children.
Lilian was a mother and a friend to many. She was generous and kind, and she loved to laugh. Her smile would brighten the room.
She was a woman of very strong faith and a prayer warrior. She believed in fasting and prayer and wanted to make sure she would see Jesus’ face. She was a member of the May Pen Apostolic Church, and was ordained as a Missionary in 2007, and as a Minister of the Gospel in 2010.
She leaves to remember her with love and grace, daughters: Marcia Hayman, Jennifer Calloo, Karen Calloo-McLeary, Paula Peterkin, Kay Flowers, and sons: Rory (Mikey) Calloo, Mark Calloo, Christopher Calloo. Twenty-six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, siblings: Dr. Sandra Mitchell, Rev. M. Grace Kelly, George Dudley Kelly, and many other relatives and friends.
