Marie Ledelia Brunat was born to Monnereuse and Medelier Moise on January 19th, 1954 in Cavaillon, Haiti. She accepted Christ as her savior when she was a little girl. She loved the Lord her God with all her heart and she is now rejoicing with Him in Heaven.
Marie passed away at the young age of 68 years old after receiving a stage four stomach cancer diagnosis in June 2021. After moving to America in 1981, Marie started building a new legacy. She had 3 children with Wilnes Brunat that survived her: Job Brunat, 37, Leonard Brunat, 34, and Esther Brunat, 32. Marie was one of eight siblings, they each survived her: Jean Claude Moise, Jacqueline Jean Francois, Jean Pierre Moise, Gislaine Guillaume, Lysse Alexis, Lucien Moise, and Verlaine Louis-Jacques.
In her 68 years, Marie’s life was marked by her love of people and her extraordinary hospitality. Marie never knew a stranger and her doors were always open to the host. Noone ever left her home hungry. Marie worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years. This occupation allowed her to help people which is what she loved doing more than anything. She was a faithful member of Eglise Baptsite Monts Des Olivier under the leadership of Pastor Pierre Francios.
On Friday May 8th, 2022 at 10 am Marie went to be with the Lord at the side of her younger sister Gislaine and her daughter Esther. She will forever be remembered as a mom, sister, aunt, and friend. Until her last day Marie believed that the Lord would heal her and we all know she is now with Jesus healed and whole.
