Marie France Durand

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Marie France Durand, who passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, after fighting a long battle of terminal cancer. During her time living on earth she was the most loving, caring person who loved so many people. She always had a big smile on her face that lifted up the room.

She graduated from Sarah J Hale High School and continued her education at Queens Borough College. She moved to South Florida and worked at Hillcrest for 25 years. She never hesitated to help out the people around her. She was loved and cherished by many people. She leaves behind her loving husband, two children, grand-daughter, brother, sisters, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews and great grand nieces / nephews.

A visitation for Marie France will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:20 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Notre Dame d' Haiti Catholic Church, 110 NE 62nd Street, Miami, FL 33138.
