Nkechi Taylor

Nkechi "Kechi" Taylor of Ft. Lauderdale, died unexpectedly on January 17th, 2016. Born in Lagos - Nigeria in 1965, Kechi was a true citizen of the world who will be remembered for her smile, her warmth, her energy, her passion for life and her unwavering love of family. With kindness, laughter and love, she made a difference in the lives of the countless people she touched. A tireless fighter who always tried to help those who were less fortunate than her, she is survived by her husband, Kevin R. Taylor, and her two beloved children, her daughter Asha and her son Matthew. She is also survived by her mother Christa Onianwa. Predeceased by her father Philip in 2011. Also surviving her are; brother, Dike (Claire) Onianwa and Duka (Grizelle) Onianwa; her sister, Ifi Lowsley-Williams. Predeceased by her sister Azuka Onianwa in 1997. Also survived are her mother-in-law Rosemary Taylor; sister-in-law, Denise (Dan Duckert) Taylor; nieces, Sibley; nephews, Alec, Aric, Etienne, Michael and Robert. A remembrance gathering will be held on Saturday January 23rd from 4-8pm at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 N. Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, 33308.
