Dear Tia, Becky, Roberto, Lauren and family, it has taken me days to find the words to express what I feel in my heart when I realize that I will not be able to see Tio Rafael again. Although distance prevented me from spending as much time with Tio as I would have liked throughout the course of my life, he touched me and my Isabella profoundly. Isabella said to me that she feels like something is missing because Tio Rafael has passed away. The moments she spent with him were not enough and yet he impacted her deeply and that says it all. She, like me, saw and felt what a gentle, caring soul he was. I admired his discipline and sense of responsibility and the grace with which he seemed to handle life. I always felt close to him because he reminded me so much of my own father. I can still picture him getting up in the morning before the rest of us and having our coffee ready, fresh cut fruit and the table perfectly set for us to have breakfast. He always thought of others. He was there for Ceci and me when our dad, his brother, passed away and he made such a difficult time seem almost easy. I will never forget that. We will miss him but are comforted by knowing he is at peace and with God. May all of you find solace and peace in this difficult time. Tina-Marie and Isabella

Papa is reunited with Joe and the rest of his family that have already departed. He is no doubt with our Lord & last but not least, I know Lizzie, Malti and Molly have crossed the Rainbow Bridge with very happy greetings for him! I'm sure Molly brought him some kind of special gift?. Rest in peace Papa, we live you & will miss you!
