Born on March 9, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, Coach was the son of the late John and Agnes Kusmier. Ron was raised and educated in Cleveland, where he attended Collinwood High School and Case Western Reserve University. On June 14, 2003, Coach was joined in marriage with Margaret ”Marge” Jazbec. Reunited High School Sweethearts after 39 years, and together shared the happiest years of his life until his passing. Ron worked for the Oak Rubber Company where he held the position as the Purchasing Manager.
Coach was the former President of the Collinwood Alumni Association, Sea Ranch B Social Committee (Balloon Man). He loved all sports especially football and truly loved his family. Ron was devout to his Christian Faith.
Ron is survived by his wife Margaret ”Marge”; Daughters: Charlene (Chachi) Zivicic (Vlado), Colleen Buttari (Rick), Carleen Gelofsack (Jonah) and step daughter, Dianna Vontroll (Oliver); Sons: Ron Jr. (Debbie), Col. Mitchell (Andi) and SSG Johnny (Emily), Stepson. Dan Krulac, and adopted son Ray Washington. Grandchildren: Josh Zivcic (Brittany), Dylan Zivcic, Krista Zivcic, Jake, Jaina, and Bo Buttari, Bobby and Ben Kusmier, Luca and Gabriel Gelofsack, Jaxson, Greyson, Charlotte Kusmier, Luke and Sophie Cupples. Great Grandchildren: Maddie, Emma and Carson. His Sister Gerry Mauceri (Frank). His brothers; John Kusmier (Rosemarie), Leo and Stanley, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by John Kusmier, Agnes Kusmier Eperesi and John Eperesi.

In keeping with Coach’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the KRAEER-FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale.
