

Born on November 24, 1956, in Watertown, Massachusetts, Stephen was the cherished son of Peter and Mersina Georgopoulos, who immigrated to the United States from Greece. He carried the pride and heritage of his Greek roots throughout his life.
After graduating from college with a Bachelor's degree, Stephen began an illustrious career serving the United States as a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration. His service took him around the world, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the agency. He was a committed and respected agent whose dedication to justice defined his professional life.
While his career was significant, Stephen's greatest pride was his family. He married the love of his life, Melanie Hurley (later Melanie Georges), and together they raised two beloved children, Nikodimos and Victoria. Stephen was a loving father who spent his lifetime guiding and supporting his children, instilling in them values of service, strength, and integrity.
Stephen is survived by his devoted son, Nikodimos, his beloved daughter, Victoria, and his cherished grandson, Andronikos. His legacy will live on through their memories and the lessons of love and guidance he imparted.
