Another year has passed, life and times roll on. Miss the honey-do lists, laughs and a slice on the balcony while practicing the "gentle" art of conversation. Know that  you are dearly missed, but  take comfort  in the knowledge you are in a far, far better place.

So many memories one would not be enough...We laughed til we cried and cried til will laughed..you were always my inspiration and still are...miss you my dear cousin...til we meet again!

Dear Therese:
You are now at peace and surrounded by your beloved Donna, Mom, Dad, little Joey, Mary Ann and Tom. We know how much you endured in this world but, despite your many challenges and infirmities, you were always there, ready to help others and to cheer us on.Our calls were always filled with laughter and kind words. 

Your legacy to all of us is the unselfish love that you gave to Donna and Barbara and to all of our family and your friends as well as the wonderful memories we share and, of course, your laughter which we will always cherish. You are now and  always will be in our hearts and we know that you are still looking after us. God bless you.

The first time I met Therese she was holding court in her daughter's kitchen. When we walked in she was laughing at what someone had said and she always maintained that large presence and that fun spirit when I was around her. Whether it was when we visited her in Florida or she when she was in New Jersey, I knew if I sat near Therese it was going to be fun and we would have a ball chatting together. When we visited Florida she was so wonderful to introduce us to her friends and hosts us. I am going to really miss her and our talks. 

Therese was always so inviting that we took her up on her offer and went down to see her in Florida for a couple days. She was a wonderful host, knew all the best places to go, and really made us feel home. Her recommendations really made the most of our trip, and our afternoon wine hours with her were the best part of the trip.

She always had great advice, and was an absolute riot. She had some of the best stories, and she's going to be missed.

I’ve heard it said that love always needs a mark. What a privilege it has been to call Therese and her family my friends. Telling people she was my adopted mother; she knew me that well. 
 Therese is one of the bravest souls I know. Her spirit unbroken even though she had so much to conquer. Her influence will forever speak of courage and determination, that’s the  significant mark she made on me. So I pray 
Thank you Father God for Therese ,so precious in your sight, welcome her into your presence where there is no pain or sorrow, only the fullness of peace and joy with you forever.
I miss you lots but love you more. 

Miss Therese Nastro wasn’t  just my patient but a mom figure to me as well.
Even though I’ve only been with her for 2 weeks following her passing, I however felt like I was with her for way longer.
Miss Nastro was such an amazing person full of jokes and stories .
She was also empowering ,wonderful and kind.
Working with Miss Nastro was a wonderful experience.
How I wish it could’ve last longer,
I’m sure she would’ve told me lots more funny stories about her life.
I know she is in a better place now sleeping peacefully, rest in heaven Miss Nastro sending my love .

To my Dearest Mother in Law, so many wonderful memories we have made together. I have so many gifts from you to be grateful for. The gift of my Beautiful Wife Barbara, the acceptance you have offered me, and the welcoming into your wonderful family! I considered you a spitfire of a woman, always living life in your terms with exuberance. Fiercely independent and intelligent, sometimes to the point of driving me a little crazy, lol! I will miss our discussions on politics and the ills of the world over a glass, or bottle, of wine. I will always remember “what’s said at the table stays at the table!”  Thank you for accepting “this guy”into your world and entrusting your most prized possession Barbara with me. Watch over her from your perch and know you are already missed.  

It has taken me so long to share because I have so many memories...the one that always makes me laugh and oh how she loved to laugh was when she and the girls came to see my new home.  It was out in the country in NJ.  Therese pulle into our long dirt and gravel driveway.  She was then greeted by two large frolicking German sheppards.  She really believed them to be wolves!  Refusing to get out of her car I tried to reassure her she was safe.  She looked at me and said.."what is wrong with you?..get in the car you can't live like this!"  I always laugh when I think of that..I will always remember the laughter and miss her wisdom and beautiful smile....til we meet again

Dear Barbara,
My sincerest and heartfelt condolences on your Mother's passing. Thank you so much for your time and consideration during her last hours.

Terri, Terri, Terri, my true friend and partner in crime, I'll miss our adventures together, I'll miss our chats about our lives, our family, our friends and putting the world to rights, not least my shortcomings, over a pizza and the odd glass of wine!  I'll miss the honey do lists; your hilarious anecdotes, and your tongue in cheek jibes. I'll miss your kindness and caring, intelligence, dizziness and razor sharp wit. I'll miss that special feeling I'd get walking across the street to visit you, that said, all's alright with the world, at journeys end. We will all miss you, but know this "My Darling", though you may have left us to be with Donna, in a far better place, a little piece of you will live on in my heart,  the hearts of those you held dear, and those whose lives you've touched, Forever.

Those of you who know me understand how special my bond was with my Aunt Therese.  She was my Godmother and my mother’s sister.   All of my memories as a child included her and my cousins Donna and Barbara who are like sisters to me.   
Aunt Therese was a black belt and when a local kid was giving me a hard time, she gave me some pointers which I used and he didn’t bother me after that.  
She moved to Florida which she loved and made many good friends.    She enjoyed her time in Florida and loved local places that had a view of the water.   She was so happy to sit at her table and view the bright sun and blue ocean from her apartment.  She always made time to come back to visit for holidays or special occasions.
It was difficult to see her deteriorate these last few years and I don’t know anyone who fought harder.   She was independent and a strong woman who was passionate about her family.
She treated me as a son and loved my cousins.    I will miss calling her and telling her about my day and talking sports.  She is with my mother, father, Donna and the rest of the family and I would love to think they are by the water drinking wine and looking over all of us.
I Love You Aunt Therese and will always think of you when I have a glass of wine. Red, not white!

Therese, my darling- you were not just my best friend, you were part of who I am. You have always been my biggest cheerleader, my strength, my confidant. You are such a part of me that I don’t know who I am without you in my life. I am blessed and thankful knowing we always shared our feelings for each other and no words were left unsaid.

Thank you for being the best part of me and for loving me so deeply. You are forever in my heart. ❤️

My memories go as far back as my childhood. Visiting Therese and Donna in Fords, New Jersey with my mom. Swimming at the pool there with Dina & Mark. She was always so full of life. It was truly a gift and a blessing to have known her. 

She’ll be missed. 

Therese, so many wonderful memories from my childhood with you, your family and my family.  You and my parents had lots of good times together. I am so glad for the time we got to enjoy all the years in Ft Lauderdale. Our dear friend, please rest in peace. Hug Donna for me
