It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Veneise Avant, a devoted mother, family-centered woman, and cherished friend, who transitioned peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the age of 57. She was surrounded by her loving family, whose unwavering devotion provided her with comfort and peace in her final moments.

Born on November 6, 1968, in Friendship District, St. Mary, Veneise developed a lifelong passion for healthcare. She served with compassion, skill, and steadfast commitment, earning the admiration of colleagues and patients alike.

Known for her kindness, professionalism, and gentle spirit, Veneise viewed caring for others not simply as a profession, but as a divine calling. She touched countless lives through her work in healthcare and through the compassion she showed in her everyday life.

She had a giving heart—always ready to support her family, open her home to those in need, and lend a helping hand without hesitation. Above all, she cherished her children deeply and remained a constant source of love, strength, and unwavering support in their lives.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and is cherished by her children, Bevil, Keiran, Antoine, and Aaliyah, whom she adored; her beloved partner, Mark; her mother, Monica; her sisters, Denise, Monique, and Shellyann; her brothers, Earl, Ruddy, Mark, Nigel, Mario, Christopher, Robert, and Gaven; her aunt, Citrine; and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and colleagues who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A service celebrating her life and interment will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. with a live stream available at https://heavenly-farewell.com.
