My dear Nana, I think of you everyday as I normally do.  It is different now because I cant stop by to see you or call you. I will always remember our time together as there are many and so much laughter shared in our visits together.  I miss you. I know you knew how much your Jeannie loves you.

My Nana Banana - I will love you forever and miss you longer. I am sorry I wasn't able to keep my promise to you. I will keep it close to me always and will use it wisely. :) You will always have a seat at the table, with a plate full of rolls. I will make sure Alex and Eric never wear hats to the table and always have shirts on at dinner. My toes will be painted some form of blue and green just because you thought it was gross. Lavender is my new favorite color and I will wear your name on my necklace until it falls apart. These will be my ways of keeping your memory alive and keeping you with me at all times. I am sad that you won't know my kids as adults but am so thankful that they had you in their lives. Your legacy will live on in your Grandaughters and Great-Granddaughters and in generations to come. We are all strong women because of the values you instilled in our mothers. Thank you for being my Nana. I love you!
