Catherine Virginia Myers Smith

Catherine is survived by two daughters: Donna L. Mason (Evan) and Marilyn M. Ivascu; 5 grandchildren: Lauralee, Kelly and M. Seth Mason, Ralph and Ronnie Ivascu; one sister-in-law Doris Smith, close friend Connie Denney, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Born January 1, 1925 in Pleasant Valley, MD., she was the daughter of the late David Leroy and Laura J. Geiman Myers. Catherine was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her 2 sisters: LaRue Smith and Edith Swartzbaugh; and 3 brothers: Leroy, Harlan and Mylo Myers.

Catherine spent her final years in Fort Myers, Florida and will be fondly remembered by Hope Healthcare, Page Rehab staff, residents & families.

A visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home, 12777 S.R. 82, Ft. Myers, FL 33913 on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 5 to 6PM. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11AM with interment to follow at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers, FL.
