passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on February 16, 2026.
Born on April 28, in Lakeland, FL, Eddie was the beloved son of Donald Sr. & Myra Cooper, who preceded him in death.
Eddie is survived by his siblings: Brother, Donald Jr & Wanda Cooper (Gina, Jessica, Donald III),
Sister, Deborah & Darell Von Stein (Tammy),
Sister, Myra Goedde (Theresa, Erica).
As well as many great nieces and nephews.
Eddie found joy in being in his shop, outside tinkering on something, and being surrounded by friends and family.
He will be remembered most for his wonderful smile!
Eddie’s life was a gift to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A service will be held on 2/28/26 at 5pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park with refreshments to follow.
