Dalton Anthony Gooden, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away on July 13, 2024. He was born on June 25, 1950, in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies to parents Samuel and Esmie Smellie. Dalty, as he was affectionately known, was a proud graduate of Calabar High School.
Dalton was the husband of June Gooden and the father of two sons, Darren and Jourdan. He worked as a biomedical engineer and was a proud volunteer of Junior Achievement USA.
Dalton is survived by June, Darren, and Jourdan Gooden. He will be remembered for his deep love of music, passion for sports, especially soccer, and exceptional skills in engineering.
A memorial service will be held on August 3, 2024, at Riverside Church in Fort Myers, Florida.
