Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Braulio and Venera Vazquez. Damian worked as a machinist in Massachusetts and then relocated to Fort Myers to manage real estate. He was a hard working man that took pride his work and accomplishments. Damian was a very generous man with a kind and caring heart who provided for his family from a young age until the end of his life.
Damian is survived by his daughter Elisa (Gary) Metcalfe of New Brunswick, Canada, sister Elisa (Felix) Santana of Fort Myers, Florida, sisters Milagros (Eligio) Candelirio and Sara (Angel) Delion and brother Jose Vazquez of Puerto Rico. He is survived by four granddaughters, Emilie and Abigail of Canada and Brianna and Ashley of Massachusetts. Damian also had several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Damian was predeceased by his wife Wendie (Sweeney) and daughter April (Chris Diprima), sister Virginia and brothers Luis and Carlos.
