Dee had a special spark and easy, friendly nature that attracted a lot of people to her; thus, she was a great friend to many, with wonderful friends in Florida and Wisconsin. She was a devoted and loving Grandmother; she made time for boat rides, swimming, art projects, card games, and of course to see their various sporting events. She was very active socially in her community at Coach Light in Fort Myers. She helped arrange dinners and social events. Some of her favorite times were with friends in a banter surrounding Wisconsin Badger or Green Bay Packer football. Dee’s ultimate favorite activity was boating the canals to the beach on Lover’s Key when in Florida and taking rides around Bear Lake in northern Wisconsin.
Dee was a successful businesswoman and prior to her retirement in 2004, she was part owner of Radant Insurance Agency started by her father Floyd Radant in Rib Mountain, WI. Prior to her career in the insurance industry, she worked at the Bone and Joint Clinic and Wausau Hospital’s Surgical Center. Dee attended the Art School at Glendale College in California. She had a passion for art and was a talented painter both in her early and later years.
