I was. F & V Inspector in Immokalee when Scott worked with his father Don, both were the nicest guys to work with. Scott was one of a kind, so sorry to hear of his passing, RIP Scott and something I would have not said to him in person...Roll Tide Roll, they lost a #1 Fan.

Scott was one of my favorite family members the many times we spent together at bryant denny stadium watching Alabama football or just cruising around listening to bosephus i will forever remember how he always had my back and would spend time with his family until he brought them all together because he loved a good party !

sorry to hear about your passing Scott,I was thinking about you just the other day .I was remembering when we first met at your daddy packinghouse in Immokalee, Florida, you guys had just moved here from Alabama and you hated school.So you were trying to convince your dad to take you out of school cause you knew all you needed to know and you would work for him.Can't remember if he did let you quick school but he did let your work for him.Until you became your own boss.I will always remember you and your family and I still think and miss your Dad a lot.Hope you and him are together again and talking about all the tomatoes and why Florida grown tomatoes are the best.I will be praying for your family always and I'm I sorry I was't there, I just found out about your passing.miss you.

I met Scott years ago while at a hotel in Ft. Meyers Beach. He invited myself and friends to his house that night for dinner, and we have been friends since! Met his whole family that night, kids, brither, sister, uncle. They laughed and joked about how the weather affected the tomato farming!! We have text and called each other over the years since! I always wanted him to come up to a Detroit Red Wings game, and he always said he would! I have text him over the last few months, with no reply. I called yesterday to find raz with him about the MSU/Alabama game, only to find his phone disconnected. My friend Ed, who was with us when we met Scott, did some searching, only to find his obituary.  I ended the year with great sorrow finding out of the loss of a great friend. To Scotts family, please be aware that he had a great influence on people, all over the country! I love and miss him. "Detroit Bob" bids farewell to the "Tomato King"

Knew Scott personally, and bought many a tomato from him going back 10-15 years.  He delivered a quality product that was better than expected more often than not, and he was truly a natural in the business who knew how to deliver.  Scott was full of life, and loads of fun to be around.  He will definitely be missed.

So sorry for the loss of Scott. I will always remember him as that rambunctious little boy who kept everybody on their toes! Prayers and love to all of you.

A person like Scottie can not be described by a few words. Norman Anderson came up with 555 words that detail personality traits. Scottie my friend 1-275 are all you. You will be missed and in all our hearts forever. You left a legacy in your children and your friends....and that's the greatest gift you can give anyone. Thank you for being my friend. As many have already stated. From the time I met Scott my life changed. There are not many people in this world that would do anything for you if you really needed them to. Scott was one of those people. Even when he was having a bad day he still managed to lighten up a room and bring more happiness and laughter to everyone that he was around. I am a better person for having been his roommate and friend. Roll Tide brother.

From the second I met Scott we were celebrating Bama together and sharing stories, jokes, pics, and constant updates. He made the last years of watching football the best ever for me and football season will never be the same without him. The mix of his amazing whit, humor, candor, and  honoraryness made him the larger than life one of a kind man he was! 
Those last weeks in the hospital he spent alot of time telling me all about you kids and it was evident you were the light of his life! We will miss him everyday but we will never forget! But we will have the comfort during every single Bama game that he is sitting right next to "The Bear" cheering with us...Roll Damn Tide! Forever, Scott Griffin we love you!

Scotty was always full of life and tremendous humor, could put a smile on anyone's face!!! Very sad to see a good soul depart so soon but his memories will linger on and on. May these memories console his children and loved ones. You are truly missed, god bless

I only knew Scott for a short time but it sure was a special time. I was solo at a table just moved here from Georgia and Scott invited me to his table as if he knew me all my life. We became very close friends or even brothers and as they say, the rest is history. You will be missed my brother!!!

I met Scott several years ago when he purchased a car from me two days before Christmas. He and I became friends over the years and he will always hold a special place. I had some medical issues several years later and Scott not only offered but INSISTED on helping me. That's what kind of person he was. He loved his Children, his Family and his friends and he will be missed tremendously.

I considered Scotty a good friend even though I didn't often see him. But when I did, it was like being with my brother. 
You were a "Good Dude" Scotty Griffin.
