Don & I graduated together from Kewanee High School in 1950 and our class was always so glad to see him when he returned for a visit and attended our class luncheons -was always so friendly & never forgot any of us -we will miss him  . condolences to his family           Donna Michalik

I believe Don was a simple man that lived by the simple rule of treating people the way he wanted to be treated.   He never asked for much but appreciated all he received. He was loved by may and will be greatly missed.

Donald Ralph Norquist 81, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on 
Saturday, February 1, 2014. Don was born in Kewanee, Illinois to 
Ralph Norquist and Sarah Goodman Norquist and moved to Cape 
Coral in 1969. He served proudly in the Navy fresh out of high 
School. Don will always be remembered as one of those people 
Always had a smite or a joke and who would help anyone. He was 
the perpetual mischief-maker who always made you think. He loved 
to read and was always up to try a new restaurant. 
He left his memories to his two daughters, Chere Peterson of Cape 
Coral and Christine Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was also 
devoted to his three grandchildren, Alex Plumlee, Cassie Hall and 
Cara Mendenhall and 5 great grandchildren. He will truly be missed- 
by all. 
He didn't want a huge fuss over his passing and just wanted those 
who knew & loved him to share the memories of their times 
together. Please leave any thoughts or 
memories by signing his guestbook.
