Donna O'Bannon De Mercado

Born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, to James and Durley O'Bannon, Donna lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Donna's presence was a blessing to all who knew her. In 1990, she married the love of her life, Kenneth C. De Mercado, and together they shared many beautiful years, 16 of which were spent in Oregon, where she found great joy outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Donna's faith in Jesus Christ was central to her life. She was gifted with an anointed voice that touched the hearts of many, and she used that gift to glorify the Lord, including her time singing with Calvary Echoes.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth C. De Mercado; her daughter, Diandra Stross; her son, Dusty Baker; her grandchildren, Aubrey Baker, Dawson Baker, Ramsey Stross, and Dustin Stross; her stepdaughter, Leandra Lawrence; and her step-grandchildren, Christopher, Kera, and Trevor. She is also survived by her brothers Tim, Danny, and Joey O'Bannon. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Mike O'Bannon.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a memorial service celebrating Donna’s life on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Broadway Community Church, 3309 S. Broadway Ave., Fort Myers, FL.

Her legacy of faith, love, and song will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
