You were always my protector Capt.  Ed. You always told me that if anyone were messing with me to let you know and that you’d come to my rescue in a millisecond. I will never forget you. You are the best cousin a person could have I know that you are up there still protecting me. I love you Edwin. 

A couple weeks ago, my brother-in-law, Capt Ed, passed away due to his illness leaving both sides of the families devastated. Although we were fighting against all the odds, we all had so much hope that Capt Edwin, would make it given his positive attitude and great will power. He had the will to survive and had so many reasons to live for. one of the many reason was, win  souls for Christ,  He always share with me, how he did it when he was young, go out with sister Pogui; a woman of God, giving out gospel tract around the community with her on her big car.. Can’t  emphasize enough how much we prayed, people who had never met Edwin; were praying for him, but his Heavenly Father our Lord; decided to called him home.  I will miss him calling me you’re my favorite sis-in law  ect..  He was my favorite bro-in law too. No one!! will take  your  place..  RIP  my dear brother.. Always will be in  our ❤️💪🏼🕶 🧢

My dearest Captain Ed .. is what I used to always call him . My moments with him were always happy moments . He always made me laugh and used to say “ Hey if any one messes with you your Tio here is gonna beat them up “ he would then show his muscles and point at it . I miss him always showing me his cool tattoos he did himself . Especially the one that said “ Captain Ed” .Tio Edwin you’ll forever be in my heart . I miss you dearly . But I know I’ll see you soon 💙.

My brother “Captain Ed” I will Miss you So much, you will always be in my heart  and though . You are in heaven, I will meet you there  and nothing will separate us again  my dear brother. Love  you❤️❤️❤️

What can I say about my little brother Edwin… I will miss you. From June 6 that we discovered what was going on with you I never left your side. Like I promise you I was going to be there 100%, rain or shine I would never let you go and I never did. We became more than just brother and sisters we became sudden best friends and I will never forget that but I will always cherish those moments even though they were difficult ones. My heart is shattered and pieces right now and I know it’s supposed to be that way when you lose someone so close. But I know it’s only a matter of time until we see each other again until then my brother my hero… I will miss you but I will think of you every moment of every day. Rest in peace my brother and tell Alyssa when you’re holding her hand that I loved her bigger than the world. Love you always Sandy b/k/a Sarra ❤️🦋🙏

My Dear Edmond...how I used to call him,...you will forever be in my heart and soul. While you were tough on the outside, some people never knew how special and caring you were on the inside. And this I can attest to.. Thank you for letting me be part of your life and accepting me as your big brother.  Till we meet again, goodbye my precious brother. I love you💔🙏

Many called him Edwin and Eddie but  mostly he was better known as Captain Ed....I knew him as my big brother.  I will remember my brother for the kind soul he was.  Edwin was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back.  Even when he fell on hard times, he would still find a way to give to those who were less fortunate.   That person on the street that no one gave the time or day to, my brother would find a way to befriend them.  He was that guy, he will always be my brother and I will always be his little sister.  I will always remember you and love you Edwin.  Rest easy brother until we meet again. 💙

Your kindness and open heart is going to missed dearly Edwin. You’ll always have a special spot in my memory and heart. You was a very good man back here on earth. Your in peace with the lord and we will all join you in heaven someday. 

Losing a loved one almost always feels unbearable. An overwhelming sense of emptiness and sorrow emerges. Though these feelings arise, I am quickly reminded of who I am mourning - my dear Tio Edwin. Someone who I consider to be the toughest, most kind-hearted, and yet gentle soul. Sorrow and pain are quickly flooded with peace knowing he's in the presence of God. My family and I thank you all for the kind words and compassion. Tio, I love you dearly. I always will. 

Al and I were blessed the day we met the Carrasquillo family.  George and Ana always beamed with pride for their beloved son, Edwin. 
Eddie was always ready to lend a hand when we needed it. I will miss his kind smile and funny wit. R.I.P.  Eddie, may you rest eternally in the hands of the Lord.


My thoughts and prayers to the Carrasquillo family during this most difficult of times. Although I didn't know Edwin,  I've gotten close to the family over the past several years. We've shared good times and some sad times and through it all the family has persevered. Again my deepest condolences to the family. 

Rest in Peace Brother. You will never be forgotten. My favorite memory of you will always be telling my friends what a Bad Ass you were. Rest easy Capt. Ed

My cousin,  my blood, my brother.   Grew up together in a ruff part of town.   Always looked out and protected his brother's, sister's,  and cousin's.  We worked together many years and never had an argument or disagreement..  
Always easy going.... Love you Cuz.  You will be missed.

Growing up with with Edwin was an adventure, he was always there to defend me of my bullies and always had his shoulder available when I got my heart broken by my  X boyfriends, he always made me laugh  when he would say his funny comments which was often.Edwin I’m always going to miss you and your unique ways of being that special brother , my heart will always carry you and our memories will always be fond ones, I love you and will see you again one day on the other side, you will  forever be my hero❤️💜🙏🏼

I will never be able to put into words how much he meant to me an my son..he was more family than our blood family.never did he say no to helping anyone.or to comin an helpin me fix my truck..omg why did God need him so soon.we still needed him here on earth.we will allways love an miss you..

to all the weekend bbqs.an all the shoulder i cried on..I love a miss my bro may he rest in piece.

Edwin aka to me Eddie, was like my little brother. He was. a true blessing to me, he had humor, happy go lucky nature, love for his family and friends, and always helpful. We were a tag team, a Bonnie and Clyde but in a good way. We took care of each other thru good and bad. He has a LOVE for boxing, and my nephew UFC fighter Niko Price. I have been so lost without him, and sadness I can even explain.  That brother of mine NEVER once told me no if I needed help, that's just who he is. The best heart God could give a man, he gave to "Eddie". 
Sadly so, I will miss him so much til my end and I cry daily when I see his door and the empty patio table because we did live side by side. 
RIP my baby brother, I will never forget you and never stop loving you. Play nice up there in heaven and with those muscles help Jesus build some nice places and things. I love you baby! Together forever
