I knew he had passed by now... I didn't look for all these years because I just knew it...

Ellis was an extremely important and special person in my world. Someone tried to use The Man With Shining Hands to program me. I found this book and when I saw it was supposed to be written for me and not the programmer, I contacted Ellis... because the programmer was claiming that Ellis trained him. Ellis defended me... and more than that... he never saw me as being broken or mentally ill. He validated my experiences. Something I could not even do for myself back then. I thought I might be crazy, too. 

No. It's just became increasingly clear that I'm chosen. My visions were real. Time has proved that. And I suspect that he knew that the entire time, even if I didn't. 

He encouraged me to read his works and sent me a DVD. I think my hub got rid of the DVD but I did manage to read some of his books before my life started getting turned upside down by the same people who tried to control my mind and failed. 

I really wish I had woken up sooner so I could talk to him about some things. 

He may have been the only person who really believed me back then. 

I wish I had words for comfort... Unfortunately, I don't. I've never been good at that kind of thing. But I do want to let you know that he impacted me in a highly significant way which eventually helped change my life for the better. I know he's in Heaven now. And I know he's looking out for you. I was so young in my 20s and a US army member. I visited Brother Skofield at his home in 2007.  We had online correspondence since 2005. Since that time of the visit, he entrusted me with an original copy of Daniel is out of Order and sent me away with a box of books which I handed out. I knew he had gone on to be with the Lord a few years ago, but today I am remembering him.  I am still working from the foundation he had taught me years ago and using the math in biblical prophetic events. Thank you brother.  We will see each other soon.  

My search for the meaning of Daniel and Revelation came to an end when I found Mr. Skofield's books and studies online.  They ring so true!  God bless you Ellis.  We've never met, yet we will in the time to come.  

Brother Skolfield had a profound effect on my understanding of eschatology.  I had come to certain conclusions that were confirmed by his studies, but he proceeded  to bring it to a completely new level.   We didn't agree on every single point, but I must give him credit for supplying information that brought my faith to a new and much more vibrant level.  Wow.  I loved his humor and his patience.  We never met in person, but I really look forward to seeing him in person on the other side!  God bless you Bro Skolfield!

Dear Ellis, I never met you but spoke on the phone a couple of times when you authorized me to translate "Demons in the Church" into Spanish. Ellis was instrumental in helping me find the proper direction in life.  Through his writings I developed a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus.  Although he has passed on, Ellis still remains in my heart.

I began receiving email posts from Bro Ellis about 2 years ago, and I occasionally wrote comments back to him in response.  I really enjoyed the exchange of ideas and found him a very pleasant email friend in Jesus.  A few months ago, suddenly, his emails quit coming, and finally today I decided to Google Search his name.  That's when I found this obituary.  I am very sad and very glad all at once that my dear brother has crossed over and is in the presence of Jesus and the angels.  Thank you.
