Emma came into the life skills room at lunch time almost daily at Estero High if she could. She would bring a lunch and sit next to Sohitha.  If a student was upset she was right there to lend her sympathy and support. That's who Emma was. She was there for the kids that needed her most.

Emma was an amazing, kind, happy person who would do anything to put a smile on someone's face, and a great friend in high school.  The world will never be the same without her in it but her memory in all of us will stay alive for years to come. Emma will never be forgotten.  R.I.P Emma!

Emma was a vibrant and beautiful young woman. She has made an indelible and precious impact on her family, community and world that makes it a better place through those she touched. My heart goes out to her family and friends. 

I am Samina’s mom and never had the pleasure to meet Emma in person. 
I can not imagine the sorrow and grief you must be going through. 
Please accept my condolences during this terrible time. Unimaginable. So sorry that this young life was cut short by this tragedy.  

I wish to express my most profound love and condolences to my beloved family in Florida, and memory of our beloved Emma. May God’s hand be on you and may he bring peace.  Our hearts ache, but our focus can be on a God who loves and cares.  You are in our prayers daily and are loved.

I remember Emma coming in every day with her lunch to spend it with our life skills students at Estero High.  I remember her big smile and optimism and fun she had year after year at Special Olympics.  I remember her love and acceptance of Ryan and Sohitha and all our students and her calm encouragement of others.  I remember her coming into our room in her scrubs if only to spend a few minutes and share her warmth.   Emma, Angel that you are, you will be so greatly missed here on Earth.  Thank you precious girl for all you did and shared with your big heart! 💓

I currently have a class with Emma at USF where we are in the same group for assignments and such. She was such a kind, bright presence and I am grateful to have worked with her. Although we were not extremely close, I will remember her everyday and I send my deepest, kindest regards to her family and friends.
