Gerald Robert Wilkins passed away on Saturday May 20, 2017 at the age of 78. He was born in Carmel, Indiana and moved to Fort Myers in 1980. He was a successful business owner for the past 37 years. From 1980 to 1985 he owned Jerry’s Beach Texaco, in 1987 he opened Jerry’s Tire and Auto Service on San Carlos Blvd. He is survived by his loving wife Virginia, 6 children, 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a caring and giving husband, father and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who truly knew him. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home 9231 Cypress Lake Dr. Ft. Myers, FL 33919 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 27 at the funeral home at 11:00A.M. Interment will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
