Jack Valenti

Jack was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He was one of eight children born to Biaggio and Josephine (Porcillo) Valenti. Predeceased by his brothers Gasper and Anthony, sisters Annie and Connie, he leaves to mourn him his brothers Joseph, Sammy and Junior. Jack worked in construction with his father, but later became a butcher working in several supermarkets in Brooklyn. In 1958 he met the love of his life, Antoinette Castellano. They married in October 1962 and their union produced three children; Josephine, Thomas and Gaeann. He embarked on a new career when he discovered he enjoyed creating different Italian dishes and baking Italian pastries and cookies. His pride and joy has been his children and 3 grandchildren; Joseph, Annie and Thomas Wever . He leaves to cherish his memory his son-in-law Darin, his sister-in-law’s, brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews as well as friends. Viewing will be at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Chapel on Cypress Lake Drive Tuesday and Wednesday. Following a Mass at Church of the Resurrection on Thursday he will be interred at Lee Memorial Park , State Rd 82 to rest eternally with his beloved Annie.
