He was born on January 23, 1947 to Charles and Nellie Ratcliffe.
Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Ratcliffe and mother Nellie Pearl Ratcliffe (Hutchen). Jesse is survived by his Wife, Deborah Ratcliffe; children Jesse (Lisa) Ratcliffe Jr, Kristina (Phil) Hart, Josh (Alice)Call; grandchildren, Brenden Ratcliffe, Ashleigh Ratcliffe, Maddison Hart, Payton Hart; great grandchildren, Jaxon Call.
Jesse served in the United States Army and was assigned to the 5th Special Forces group, and served with them in the Vietnam War from 1965-1968. He earned the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He was the head security officer for the Lee County Justice Center as well as the head security officer for the Hendry County Court House for 20 years. Jesse was also a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Jesse was loved by many and will be severely missed.
