John Frederick Mellor

John Frederick Mellor, aged 66, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16th at his home. He was a native of Ft. Myers. He graduated from Ft. Myes High School and Florida Keys Community College, with an associate degree in Marine Propulsion Technology. His first occupations were in marine related industries, then he transitioned to managing Fowler Center properties. He was a proud member of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Survivors include his parents William H. and Patricia (Humfleet) Mellor and his two sisters Catherine Carter of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara Mellor of Highlands, North Carolina, and three nephews Frederick Carter, Michael Carter, Daniel Bowles, and their families.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Estero Bay Buddies.
