Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John was the cherished son of John Joseph Saltarelli, Jr. and Jean Saltarelli, who lovingly survive him.
John is also survived by his Uncle Lou Saltarelli (Aunt Deb), Aunt Rosie née Saltarelli (Uncle Michael Conicelli), Uncle Jim Saltarelli (Aunt Pat) and many cousins.
John had a warm spirit. He found joy in the stories of Star Wars, especially his favorite character, Jabba the Hutt. He was also a devoted Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed the simple fun of an occasional game of chance.
