John proudly served in the US Army from May 1953 to April 1955.
He is survived by his children: John (Barbara) Wrynn, Alison (Lizbeth) Wrynn, Suzanne (Anthony) D’Atri and Kevin Wrynn; grandchildren: Bridget (B.J.) Sweterlitsch, Alex Wrynn, Griffin D’Atri, Rafferty Wrynn and Darby Wrynn; great grandchildren: Palmer Sweterlitsch and Jameson Sweterlitsch; sister-in-law, Francesca (Dennis) Joyce; and friends Linda West and Richard Roth.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Angela P. Wrynn; son, Robert Wrynn; parents, Francis and Margaret Wrynn; brother, Francis Wrynn, Jr., and sister, Margaret Harkin.
The service will be private. He will be inurned at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY with his wife Angela.
