Joseph Richard Harris

Born March 8,1935 in Louisville, KY, Dick honorably served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. After his service, Dick settled down with his wife and 4 children working for John Deere Tractor and eventually retiring from Creel Tractor as a Sales Supervisor. Once retired, Dick enjoyed his years living in Buckingham, FL as a carpenter building orders that were placed such as swings, picnic tables, bird houses, etc…

Dick is survived by his sons Scott, Timmy and Steve; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Flora and Will; wife Nancy Jean; son Ricky and grandson Bucky.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 1st at 10am with a 12pm service and burial with military honors to follow.
