Judith Angela Walker

Judith Angela Walker, age 64, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye for now to Judith Angela Walker. Judith was born March 14, 1960, in Kingston, Jamaica, to her mother Amy Roselyn "Lyn" Vassell (nee McDonald) and father, James Walker.

Judith is predeceased by her mother, Amy Vassell, who passed on February 17th, 2015, and her stepfather, Clifton Vassell who passed away on February 24, 2023.

At the age of 9 years old, Judith contracted Meningitis which left her disabled. Even with her disability. Judith's mom, Amy, ensured she would experience life as normal as possible. In 1972, at the age of 12, Judith migrated to England to join her mother who was residing there at the time. In December 1978, Judith and her family migrated to Lauderhill, Florida where they resided until 2005. While living in Lauderhill, Florida, Judith, Amy, and her stepfather, Clifton Vassell, enjoyed numerous cruises and vacations. In 2005 Judith, Amy, and Clifton moved to Georgia, until they relocated to Lehigh Acres, Florida in 2011.

After Amy's passing Clifton ensured Judith was well cared for until his passing. After Clifton's passing, Judith, relocated to Broward County, under the guardianship of her Uncle Edward and Aunt Jean McDonald.

Although Judith's time with us has come to an end her legacy will live on through the memories of her smile, love of purses, and her own way of telling a story.

Rest in Peace Judith knowing that will be forever loved and missed.

A Visitation for Judith will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.

A Funeral Service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.

A Graveside Service will occur Monday, February 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.

A Reception will occur Monday, February 24, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
