Luke 23 verse 43
And he said to him: “Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise

Karrene was my mother's hospice nurse. What a delightful young lady, she was a breath of fresh air to all. Later I was able to witness her courage, when she face every new challenge with hope and grace.
All though my mom was dying, she would make her smile, and would always pray for her .I am looking forward to see her in Paradise in the very near future.
May the God of comfort, be with the Ragin family, her Mother Joyce, her siblings and extended family.

2 Corinthians 1
3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,+ the Father of tender mercies+ and the God of all comfort,+ 4 who comforts* us in all our trials*+ so that we may be able to comfort others+ in any sort of trial* with the comfort that we receive from God.

Mrs. Ragin, 'Momma Ragin' from the day I first met her, I was struck by her beauty and amazed by her strength in Christ. She spoke with such love and authority that I just sat at her feet and gleaned from her. Spending time with her at camping and seeing her intelligence and love for her family just gleamed through from Momma Ragin.
Along with your family, Momma Ragin', I can't believe you have left this earth. I take great comfort knowing that you are present with the Lord. Although we may not fathom that your work here on earth was done because we could see you in so many aspects of our lives going forward in the years to come. We can only leave our hurting hearts to the Almighty God to add the balm of Gilead for our healing.

When I first met Karrene I couldn't believe that someone so outwardly beautiful could be even more inwardly beautiful. And that was just the beginning. She was intelligent, kind, generous and she was the most talented creative person I had ever met. She built her own house - built it with her own hands. Big things and small details, nothing escaped her notice.

I came to Ft. Meyers to teach a raw food prep class. I happily turned over the sauerkraut portion to her and she designed six different krauts - including a jerked kraut - that were all phenomenal. It was a pleasure to act as her sous chef and note taker.

I hate to think of a world without her. She was so much light and sparkle - everything brightened and bloomed near her.

To everyone who loved her, the only consolation I can voice is that God didn't want to wait another day to have her in His presence.

Karrene has been a source of encouragement and inspiration from high school days until the recent past. My heart is saddened to know that we won't speak again here in "time" but I rejoice that she clearly made her reservation for "eternity". I pray peace and comfort for the entire family and friends.
