

Kathy Sorbello, age 82, passed away on January 26, 2026. Born in Oswego County, New York, she spent her early years in Fulton, NY. On August 22, 1964, she married the love of her life, Anthony Sorbello. Together they built a beautiful life and raised five children in Liverpool, New York.
Kathy was a devoted homemaker and talented hairdresser in her early years. In August 1986, the family moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where she continued to work in roles that reflected her warm and social nature, including as a personal assistant and in various other positions that allowed her to connect with people—something she truly loved.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, her sisters MaryAnn Zaia, Theresa Carrico, and her son Kevin Sorbello.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sorbello; her children, Mary Ann Sorbello, Katie Bocchino (Tom), Brian Sorbello (Jill), and Kim Sorbello; her cherished grandchildren, Renee, Joseph, Gregory, Justin, Patrick, Emily, Sarah, Zachary, Kaitlin, and Jesse; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Cameron and Blake.
Kathy will be remembered for her love of family, her friendly spirit, and the joy she found in talking with others. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and devotion.
A funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Resurrection on Cypress Lake Drive in Fort Myers, Florida, on Friday, February 13, at 11:00 pm. A reception will immediately follow at the parish center.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
