Kenneth will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose generosity, playful teasing, and lighthearted humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He served honorably in the U.S. Army before working at the Ridgewood Water Pollution Control Facility where he retired. Kenneth was predeceased by four siblings and his son, Kenneth DeVuyst, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lieselotte DeVuyst, his children, Siegfried DeVuyst and wife Cheryl, Linde Sudol and husband Stephen, Julie Connors and husband Thomas, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A private family service was held in Florida to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, please celebrate Kenneth’s memory by planting a tree through A Living Tribute, an organization that plants trees to benefit both current and future generations.
