
Leo was a devoted husband, father and servant of the Lord. Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to George and Thelma Homison, on June 26, 1940, Leo lived a life marked by service, dedication and strength. He proudly served in the US Navy, where he was stationed in Antigua and worked in communications intelligence breaking military codes during his service to his country.
Leo built a life centered on family, hard work and lasting friendships. His journey carried him from Pennsylvania to Florida, where he spent his later years in Fort Myers as a Business Consultant in the field of telephony. He also served his community as a member of Kiwanis.
Leo was an avid athlete throughout his life, enjoying football, baseball and basketball and continued his passion by coaching his children in their sporting activities.
Leo enjoyed many activities such as, boating, gardening, grilling and social gatherings with his family and friends, reading his Bible, relaxing on his back porch with a glass of wine, traveling to the mountains and just spending time with his wife Diane and their dog Major.
Leo will be remembered for his wisdom, patriotism, quick wit, corny jokes and steady presence.
He was preceded in death by those who passed before him and will be remembered with love and gratitude by his wife Diane and children Deborah, Lee (Cecilia) and Cheryl (Chris) and stepdaughter Shannon (Ben), and grandchildren Lucas, Lisa, Stephanie, Logan, Austin, Taylor, Kyle, Juliana and Preston and great grandchildren.
His legacy of love and faith will live on for generations.
