Margaret Lillian Booth

Margaret L. Booth age 83, of Cape Coral died peacefully Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Cape Coral Assisted Living Facility. Margaret was born in Boston, Mass. on June 19, 1940, to Edwin J. and Margaret E. (Harrison) Clayton.

Margaret affectionately known as “Pinky” graduated high school in 1959 and shortly after met the man who would father her children. They were married on December 7,1963; she was 23 years old. They had three children, Elizabeth who was born in 1966, Larry Jr in 1967 and Earl in 1971.

Pinky was a huge Boston sports fan. Her favorite team was the New England Patriots and her favorite

quarterback was Tom Brady. Every Sunday, you could find her watching a Patriots game or Nascar.

She loved all animals, except for snakes, which was a favorite prank to pull on her by her grandsons. She

always knew ahead of time and always played along to amuse them. Pinky loved being a Grandmother. Her grandsons Zachary and Nicholas were the love of her life. Spending time and babysitting them were some of her favorite memories.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Robert Ott) Leonardi Ott; Larry (Anna Flathman) Booth Jr, Earl Booth; Grandsons, Zachary (Kinsey Katz) Leonardi and Nicholas Leonardi; sister, Laurie (Vinnie) Cangiamila; nieces, Loretta Paul and Vanessa Clayton; nephews, Edwin and Bobbie Colleran; sister-in -law, Connie Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Larry D Booth Sr; brother, Edwin (Skip) Clayton; grandson, Devin J Leonardi.

A private service will be held at a later date.
