He was born in Massachusetts on November 10, 1959 to Henry and Leona Leno.
Mario was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Mary and Arrigo Lino. He is survived by his husband, Michael Bertrand, his son, Sean (Marta) Bertrand, his mother, Leona Leno, his grandson, Julian Bertrand, his brother, Henry (Silvana) Leno and his sister, Maya Leno.
Mario worked as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. He had a wide array of interests including architecture, landscaping and operas.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mario’s name would be appreciated to the Lymphoma Foundation.
