Rebecca Jacinta Gandia, age 83, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023. Rebecca was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to her loving parents Agripino Sanabria and Maria (Flores) Sanabria. Beloved wife of Antonio Gandia. Cherished mother of David Gonzalez, Cookie Ormiston, Emanuel Gonzalez and Frances G Fresse. Loving sister of Agripino, Hector, Edgardo, Carlos, Mercedes. Devoted grandmother of Wynter, David Preston, Xavier, Tasha, Mireya, Celena, David Anthony, Victoria Rebecca, Cassandra Carmen, Rebecca Leigh, Shana Alyce, Sarah Marie, Melissa, Savannah, Jennifer, Carmen, Jeanette, and William. Proud great grandmother of Aiden, Mason, Natalie, Joseph, Owen, Weston, Julianna, Beau, Arthur, Everett, Desmond, Noah, Felicity, Taya, Kyle, Lilyana, Aniah, Xaelah, K’Laiyah, Lae Rose, Aaliyah, Jade, Thomas, Xavier, Elijah, Genesis, Abigail, Logan, Alice, Jaden, Zion and Zuh’Ryah.

Rebecca was a proud Salon owner and hairstylist for many years. She always enjoyed cooking spanish paella and playing chinese checkers with her family. She loved the elegance of butterfly and the beauty of an orchid. You would always find her in a happy mood singing and dancing to spanish music when with family and friends. Rebecca was a kind and generous soul and always worried about everyone. She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service for Rebecca will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913, followed by a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
