Ruby Mae Easley, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, in Lehigh Acres, Florida, with her granddaughter Pamela by her side. She was born on September 18, 1935, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Gertrude Hardin and Spencer Hardin.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Audrey Hardin; her sister, Mary Beth Oswald; her mother, Gertrude Hardin; her father, Spencer Hardin; her beloved husband of 64 years, Philip Martin Easley Jr.; and her daughter, Vicki Mae Moungey.
Ruby’s memory will be lovingly cherished by her sister, Rebecca Kay Manus and her husband, John, of Arkansas; her son, Philip Easley and his wife, Pam, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Easley, Matt Easley, Jaden Reese, and Aiden Jacobson.
A visitation will be held on May 21 at 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with interment immediately following. Services will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
