Sally J. Pimentel, 88, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Fort Myers. She had been a resident of Fort Myers since 2002, formerly of Delaware. Sally was born in Chicago, IL to Edward and Yetta Lefkow, who are now deceased.
Sally was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in seven states, following her husband’s professional and administrative career. She enjoyed entertaining and supporting deaf and hard of hearing services to people in several states. The Fort Myers Sally J. Pimentel Deaf and Hard of Hearing Agency is named in her honor.
Sally was a devoted wife. She is survived by her husband, Albert; 2 sons, Stephen (Rachel) Pimentel of Santa Clara, CA and David Pimentel of King of Prussia, PA; Six grandchildren; brother, Edward (Randee) Lefkow; brother-in-law, Antonio (Jill) Pimentel and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn.
A funeral service will be held in Indianapolis, IN which will be announced later. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
