Sandy was always so sweet and kind to me and my girls. She always invited us to be a part of family events and treated us as family. She had the best sense of humor and had so much love in her entire body for everyone. 
May you all for comfort in the beautiful memories with her.

Troy and Dawn , your mother had to be one of the best, it shows in how well Dawn and Troy are such wonderful people on this earth. In our prayers wishing many wonderful memories.

Jim and I have so many wonderful memories of his Aunt Sandy. She quickly became my favorite person as she showed so much love to all that knew her.Our boat rides and lunches were our favorite time spent with her and my mom. Her unselfish nature , beauty inside and out as well as always present smile was to be admired by all..I know is was to me.I hope she can feel how much she is missed and It gives her peace to know how much we loved her.

Sandy’s light and sunshine will forever be felt by all who’ve been fortunate enough to have met her.  Such a loving, kind person will never be forgotten but so very missed. Love you Sandy.

I worked with Sandy at Heights also and we became friends outside of work. Sandy was always ready to help everyone. She was the most open, honest person and used this to share all the wisdom of her life with her family and friends. Sandy was such a warrior, fighting through the struggles of her life. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren gave her all the strength and love she needed. She was more than proud of each of them. There are so many people that will miss you Sandy. I worked with Sandy for 25 years at Heights Elementary. She always made working so much better with her fun ways and always a smile. I know that her family was the most important thing in her life. She was  always doing everything to help them and all the grand children. She was their “WoWo” and anything for them. She will dearly be so so missed. My dear Sandy, l think Joel said it well. You were no doubt the sweetest, kindest, caring person ever to be on this earth. My memories of and with you are so very special to me. We did have some good times didn't we? You were usually game for anything, that didn't involve heighths. It is hard for me to accept that Sandy is really gone. I watched that woman’s courage and love and everything she went through when she had had Gillain Barre’. I was just telling her at one of her get-togethers at the house with all her family around how proud she must be to have watched her family grow the way it did when I first met her. She had two daughters, a son and a few grandchildren at the last party, the room was filled. Every one of her children were married then they had children there were also several nieces and nephews there with their children. and her grandchildren now had children. She just beamed. She was all about love and doing for other people. They’ll never be another one like her. I’m gonna miss her so much.

I was so sorry to hear about Sandy’s passing. She was truly a ray of sunshine. She was always kind, welcoming, I have such fond memories of visiting her house when I was younger, she would make Dawn and I tomato soup and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches . My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this difficult time.

I worked with Sandy for a lot of years at Heights Elementary school.  I also spent some time wirh Sandy and others away from work. Sandy was great to work  and hang out with. She would always help everyone, with a smile on her face. Sandy will be remembered well by all. Rest in peace Sandy.

Hurricane Ian took all my pictures of Sandy but I have great memories of her. The first time I met Sandy was camping at Shell Creek and she was there with her family. I got into the creek and Sandy and her kids were on a float of some sort and Sandy saw me and asked if I’d like to join them. I thought that was the nicest thing and never forgot her. Then I was working at Heights Elementary and saw her behind the front office desk and told her the story and she remembered being at Shell Creek so I knew it was her. That made a huge impact on me when I was young and we became friends from there on. Sandy was such a loving person and would do anything for her family and friends. I’am going to miss her so much. I’m sure her and Scott are talking about all of her stories of the family. Family really was everything to her. Love you and miss you Sandy. Rhonda Pelton
