
Sharon was born Saturday May 16th 1936 (In South Bend, Indiana) to Marvin and Lucille Milliken, She was their first child. They would go on to have two more children Karen Leigh and Robert "Bruce".
Sharon along with her family moved to SW Florida (Fort Myers) in the early 50's where she would attend Fort Myers High School. It was there where she would meet her soulmate and love of her life Robert Wilson Powell. They were inseparable. A match made in heaven. They would go on to enjoy 65 years of life and marriage together. They had four children Robby, Randy, Lisa and Ronny.
Sharon was on amazing mother, supporting her children, active in church, school sports, and cheerleading. It didn't matter the activity, she was always there and involved in any way that she could help. Sharon was that way as a daughter, big sister, aunt, and friend.
Sharon had a very outgoing personality. She loved socializing with her ESA Sorority Sisters for years and years. They would travel across the state of Florida and even the country traveling to different states and attending National Conventions.
She was artistic, loved drawing and painting. She was quite accomplished with her craft. One of her favorite pastimes and passions was reading. She loved reading anything and everything she could get her hands on. We cant forget the "Carol 'Burnett Show" She loved Carol Burnett.
Sharon is survived by her four children: Robert Wilson Powell Jr, Randall Wayne (Sylvia) Powell, Elizabeth Lymm "Lisa" (Robert) Brazzel, and Ronald Warren Powell. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is surv8ived by her sister, Karen Leigh (Eugene) Pigott, brother, Robert "Bruce" (Carol) Milliken. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Wilson Powell SR. and her parents Marvin and Lucille Milliken.
The graveside service was held on Monday, April 11th, 2022 at 3PM, with Hodes Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park.
