Steven Vincent San Filippo

Steve served as a Chicago Policeman for 32 years, retiring in 2001. He then moved to Florida where he enjoyed the sunshine and NO MORE snow. He loved to sing and playing poker with family. After retirement, Steve pursued several careers including, car sales, Home Depot and real estate.

Steve is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joann; daughters, Joanne Eckardt and her husband, Chris and Stefanie Blanchard and her husband, Brice; grandsons, Damien, Dominic and Zaiden. Steve loved being with his grandsons and spending time with them. Steve also leaves his siblings, Jasper and his wife Gail, Linda Cortese and her late husband, Raymond and Sharon Sandoval and her husband, Richard; as well as many nieces and nephews.

We will be gathering to share some of our favorite memories, to laugh, to cry and remember a wonderful man who will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life gathering for Steven will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 10184 Winding River Rd, Punta Gorda, FL.

And Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM 5370 Sullivan Pass, Lake In The Hills, IL 00150.
