I'm not sure why I looked for Tim this morning but I am sad to learn of his passing. Mr. Battles was a great man. Sharp wit, great sense of humor, snappy dresser...
Tim I wish that I had paid more attention to what you were trying to teach me. All to often in life the one who needs advice the most is the one who never heeds it.
I realized several years ago that you were trying to guide me down a better path than the one I had been on. What ifs and wishes aren't worth a damn because that just isn't the way things happened but if you are out there somewhere in the everlasting please know that I do wish I had spent more time with you. Upon reading the beautifully composed obituary I realized that I miss you. Ready fire aim, I hope to see you again when my time comes. With the utmost respect,

Tim made a huge difference in the world, and we will miss him dearly. We are so sorry for your loss and will continue to remember your family in prayer. I look forward to seeing Tim and Carol in Heaven.

Our prayer is that God's loving comfort  will be with the family at this sad time. We will miss the times we shared 
with our Christian brother Tim, but we celebrate a life dedicated to his savior and the glory of God.
