Born, in Elizabethan, TN he lived in Lantana, FL for the past 20 years. He graduated from John Carroll High School, in 1978. He attended the New England Tech School. He had certification in Nate A/C, ACCA, and AGC FL East Chapter. He was an instructor for the American Training Institute, West Palm Beach, FL, for 4 years. He was a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, West Palm Beach, FL.
Survivors include, son, Basil Preston Meehan King, of Manchester, NJ, mother, Betty King of Fort Pierce, FL, brothers, Charles r. King and wife Connie, of Ponte Verda Beach, FL and David P. King and wife Charlene, of Port St. Lucie, FL. He was preceded in death by his father Basil Lankford King.
A life celebration will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL at 3:00pm.
