Linda was born in Huddy, KY and had been a resident of St. Lucie County for 42 years coming from Huntington, WV.
Prior to retirement Linda was a teacher for the St. Lucie County School District for 34 years.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Sylvester W. McCallister of Port Saint Lucie, FL; sons, Brian W. McCallister of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Jeffrey McCallister (Elizabeth) of Ft.Pierce, FL; brother, David White(Sally) of Pecks Mill, WV; sisters, Pam White of Pecks Mill, WV and Virginia Davidson (Jerry) of Chesterfield, VA; She also leaves behind her two grandchildren Annalyn and Rosemarie and two great-grandchildren, Alissa and Anthony Jr. to cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12,2016 from 10:30am-12:30pm followed by a 12:30pm service at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL.
