

Linda O’Neal, 83, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, in Vero Beach, Florida. Born on March 28, 1943, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Linda lived a life marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Linda earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and went on to pursue a career as a primary school teacher. Over the decades, she touched the lives of countless students with her intelligence, compassion, and dedication to education. Her impact extended far beyond the classroom as she inspired young minds and left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to learn from her. After semi-retirement, her love for teaching drew her to Indian River State College where she touched more lives in adult education.
Linda was a devoted wife to her husband Andrew and a loving mother to her sons Mike Ellis, Chris Ellis (Becky), Charlie O’Neal (Stephanie), and daughter Andrea Egloff (Jansen).
She cherished her role as a grandmother to Lauren Ellis, Devon Ellis (Missy), Sydney Ellis, Morgan Ellis, and Megan Ellis.
Linda is also survived by her sister Susan Drawdy (Phil). Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in their accomplishments and shared moments together.
Those who knew Linda remember her as an intelligent and caring individual whose warmth and kindness enriched the lives of everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love she gave so freely and the legacy she leaves behind.
