Martha P Geary

Martha Geary (Perez), 93, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday evening, August 3, 2025, devoted wife of Wendell Leroy Geary; loving mother of Nelson Fantauzzi, Nora (Fantauzzi) Wilkins, and Daniel Fantauzzi Sr.; sister of Ramona (Perez) Garcia, Evangelina “Nina“ (Perez) Perez, Alfonso Perez, Delia Neida (Perez) Soto, “Dulce“ Maria (Perez) Delgado, “Pepe“ Jose Ramon Perez, Ana “Marina“ (Perez) Godoy, “America“ Valentina (Perez) Corrales. Also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; nephews, nieces, and countless friends.

Martha was born and grew up in Matanzas, Cuba, then became a naturalized citizen of the United States, then dedicated the rest of her life to her beloved husband Wendell and family.

Martha’s career consists of being a seamstress at New Jersey Buttonwood Hall Hospital and Bealls Florida as a retail sales associate; she volunteered at McKee Botanical Gardens, VFW Ladies Auxiliary; she was also a gifted artisan in crochet, knitting, embroidery and sewing; but her greatest passion throughout her life was landscape design and gardening.

Come celebrate her full and happy life with family and friends Saturday, August 16 with a viewing at 9:00 AM at Aycock Funeral Home (6026 N. US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, Florida),an 11:00 AM Holy Mass at St. John of the Cross Church (7550 26th St., Vero Beach, FL), then returning to Aycock Funeral Home for Burial approximately at 1:00 PM.
