

Born on April 19, 1937, in Morristown, New Jersey, Hank pursued higher education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, where he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees. He dedicated his career to electrical engineering, working for Jersey Central Power & Light Company in Morristown. He raised his family in Whippany, New Jersey.
Hank proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during his military service. Beyond his professional and military commitments, he was an avid golfer who found great joy on the course. He was also a loyal New York Giants fan. His faith was also an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of The Community Church of Vero Beach.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ann Wheat; his daughter, Karen Wheat; and his parents, George and Edith Wheat. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Finn and her husband Brian Finn, and Kathryn Walsh; his granddaughters Kelly Cemelli and her husband Nicholas Cemelli, and Kerry Zarandona and her husband Stephen Zarandona; his grandson Stefan Barrieres and his partner Srabone Monir, as well as his great-granddaughter Lucia Elizabeth Cemelli.
A graveside service will be held on March 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, located at 6026 N US Highway #1, Fort Pierce, Florida 34956.
