
Born in Covington County, AL he has been a resident of Vero Beach, FL for the past 40 years, coming from Pensacola, FL.
Bob was a graduate of Covington County High School and then joined the United States Merchant Marine during World War II.
Prior to retirement, he worked for Southern Bell Telephone for 34 years in FL. Bob was the founder and owner of Bobs E-Z Boot Protector. He was active with the Indian River Riding Club and the 4H Horsemasters Club and the 4H State Advisory Board for many years and was known to many as the “Trail Boss”. His love of horses was carried on through to helping not only his daughter and granddaughters become accomplished riders, but to many young riders and adults. He was a friend to all who came in contact with him, and he will be missed and loved.
Survivors include, daughters, Becky Seton, of Vero Beach, FL and Lisa Lowery (Bill Jeffrey), sons, John Lowery, of Florala, AL, and David Lowery, of Sebastian, FL, grandchildren, Jennifer, Johnny, Allison, Stephanie, Chance and Dillon, great grandchildern, Ellen, Blake, Shea, Skyler, Lauren, Mary Grace, Tate, Britney and Robbie. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Sybil Lowery.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL from 12:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
